Rotštejn

The castle on sandstone rock ridge of Klokočské rocks was founded in the second half of 13th century by Vok from Rotštejn. To Rotštejn family the castle belonged till beginning of the 15th century. During Hussite wars Rotštejn was devastated and then left empty. So it has been mentioned since 1514. The castle was partialy cut into rock and joined with wooden constructions. Unique is castle kitchen with chiselled well and chimney.
